Adolescente pega um ano de prisão nos EUA por deixar gatinha queimar em forno
Jovem de 17 furtava apartamento no Bronx quando cometeu o crime.
Na saída do tribunal, ela mostrou a língua para ativistas pró-animais.

Uma adolescente nova-iorquina de 17 anos foi condenada a um ano de prisão nesta quinta-feira (17) por ter deixado uma filhote de gato queimar até a morte em um forno e por tentativa de furto.

O incidente ocorreu em 6 de maio, quando ela e um amigo de 14 anos tentavam furtar objetos em um apartamento no Bronx.

A adolescente admitiu a culpa e chegou a um acordo com o tribunal. Ela disse que "errou" ao não salvar a gata, que havia sido colocada no forno pelo amigo. O animal gritou e arranhou a tampa antes de morrer.

Na saída da corte, a jovem foi vaiada por ativistas pró-direitos dos animais. Ela desafiou-os mostrando a língua e disse que a filhote, chamada Tiger Lily, "estava morta".

A preocupação com a economia de água, um recurso natural que nos será caro nos próximos anos, deve começar no aprendizado dos primeiros passos.
